Getting Turkish Driving License
Getting a driver's license in Turkey:
Obtaining a driver's license in Turkey has become one of the necessary issues for foreign vehicle owners and drivers in Turkey. If you reside in Turkey for more than 6 months and want to drive legally, you must obtain a Turkish driver's license,
Turkish law states that you must be at least 18 years old to obtain a vehicle license and at least 17 years old to obtain a motorcycle license.
After the translation and notarization of the driver's license obtained from your country, you can use it for 6 months from the date you entered Turkey, according to the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. that is, in order to legally drive, you must apply to replace the foreign driver's license with a Turkish one.

The exam consists of multiple-choice questions, the number of questions is 50 and the duration of the written exam is 60 minutes. If you prefer to take the exam electronically in private centers, the duration of the exam is reduced to 40 minutes.
To pass the exam, you need to score 70 points.
Results are given a few days after the written exam, and immediately in the electronic exam.
After completing the practical training, you will be responsible for the practice exam, which is usually held in an area close to the school.
After successfully passing the practice exam, and a few days after that, the school will give you a file containing the papers you have submitted, in addition to the certificate of achievement in the training course.
The school will refer you to a government bank to pay the driver's license fee and receive the payment receipt and attach it to the file.
Accordingly, you make an appointment with the security center of your place of residence and go there on the date specified with the file you received from the school and present it to the security center. You will receive a temporary driver's license for one month from the security center until you get the driver's license.
Your driver's license will then be mailed to your registered address in the Soul Department for 3-10 days.

International Driving Permit in Turkey
Arab tourists usually bring an international driver's license valid for a certain period of 6 months.
Noting that this license is valid in Turkey for as long as it is valid, and that the tourist's right to reside in Turkey is valid throughout the validity period, such licenses cannot be converted to local licenses.
